The Story So Far..
Set in a beautifully restored 1800’s heritage building a stone’s throw from the center of Orange, our restaurant boasts a relaxing atmosphere with a modern flair. Here at eighteen70 we are about great food, we are not a fine dining restaurant, we are about casual relaxed dining with great local wines. All produce is sourced locally where possible. Its fresh, its beautifully prepared, it awakens the senses, happy days. For you progressive types, don’t worry it’s not all beef and bread. We have Vegetarian and Gluten free options available, our wait staff totally understand your dietary needs and our chefs always eager to impress. Fire up your taste buds check out the Menu by clicking here.
What kind of pleasurable dining experience would it be without a fine selection of local Orange Wines from our fully licensed bar. We have a wonderful selection from Bloodwood, Brangayne, Angullong, Swinging Bridge and many more. Why not enjoy a glass or two by our warm fire during those cold Orange winters? Or enjoy lunch in the sunshine in our vibrant courtyard during the warmer days? If you’re feeling a little parched nothing beats a nice cold beer on tap. Or if a Cider is more your style, try a Bulmers Pear or Original or the exotic Rekorderlig range. We have recently added an exciting range of Old School and Fresh New Cocktails for those seeking a little thrill! To get that pallet excited, check out our beverage list here.
The restaurant and gardens make for a beautiful wedding reception or special family function seating up to 98 people. Our resident civil celebrant Anne Kelly can conduct marriage ceremonies, naming days and other occasions.
For business conferences eighteen70 is a memorable and practical location. We have private conference facilities with wireless internet access and digital data projector available on request. Find out more here.
